Classes

Every month we run classes and workshops conducted by talented and experienced teachers so you can indulge your creative side by perfecting a skill or trying out a new one.

All classes require a basic kit, please ask if you don’t know what’s needed.

Friday 15th- CRAFT & CHAT– We offer morning tea with barista made coffee/hot chocolate. After socialising, you will get to make 3 beautiful cards. 10am to 12noon $20.

Friday 15th- CARD TEMPLATE CLASS WITH A TWIST (Class A). With Leanne. These classes were very popular last year so we have reintroduced them this year with a difference. In this class you will get to make 4 new card templates as before but with each class, besides receiving all the card stock, you will also be given 1 sheet of panelled paper. This month, it will be the new Mintay Traveller range. You use 4 of the panels in class and take the rest home to make 8 more cards. $18.50 including ALL materials. 12.30 to 3pm

Tuesday 19th- CHARACATURE CARDS With Lou. Make some fun, novelty cards for friends and family. In this class you will get to make 3 cards out of the 4 designs. You will also learn to do colouring with blending techniques using alcohol markers. Also use Wink of Stella or equivalent markers for special effects as well as other blending techniques. 9.30 to 12 noon. $17.50

Wednesday 20th- U3A CARDMAKING 10am to 12 noon.

Friday 22nd- VINTAGE TRAVELLER’S FOLIO With Leanne. This is a full day’s workshop. You will receive two lots of beautiful vintage papers and get to make this amazing Traveller’s folio or a memory keepsake. 9.30 to 2.30pm. All materials, including the two sets of printed papers as well as lesson, $45

Wednesday 28th- U3A CARDMAKING 10am to 12 noon.
